Carelift Zoom Boom Connecticut

Carelift Zoom Boom Connecticut

Rough terrain forklifts have been produced by CareLift Equipment, since the year 1962. Each day the company strives to deliver value and help all their customers reach their objectives since they know the bottom line is performance and reliability.

There are 2 general kinds of boom lifts. These models are articulated boom lifts and straight boom lifts. Often, these models are hydraulically powered. Most commonly straight booms are the ideal option for jobs which need a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the machine is capable of rotating three hundred sixty degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom is able to be vertically raised to below horizontal. Because the operator is able to steer and maneuver the vehicle while the boom is fully extended, it is a really versatile machine. These models are available in 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive, as well as diesel, propane or gas configurations.

The articulated boom lifts are used for tasks that need to reach up and over obstacles so as to gain access. These specialized lifts are used for tasks that are not easily carried out by straight telescopic booms. These lifts are practically identical to the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the ability of the boom to articulate. There are various articulation points on the boom in order to enable it to bend in a range of different directions allowing it to move around any objects easily in the work site.

In order to maintain stability while the boom lift is fully extended, some heavy-duty boom lifts come equipped with outriggers. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra confidence and safety. Correct training is required prior to utilizing boom lifts in order to ensure the jobsite, the operator and everybody working in the vicinity stays safe.

Boom lifts enable tasks that used to require a lot more man hours to be completed in a much shorter time period. These equipment have revolutionized the material handling business and have greatly increased production.
